How Would You End Poverty in Winston Salem? Community Listening Sessions

The newly formed Partnership For Prosperity will be hosting the first round of a series of Community Listening Sessions this April. These conversations will be led by the recommendations of the Poverty Thought Force and their 2017 Final Report . The Partnership for Prosperity is a new initiative aimed at reducing poverty by helping to coordinate the poverty fight, by raising public awareness of it, and by advocating for policy reform on a local and state level. The partnership will align with those living in poverty in this crucial fight, starting with a series of listening sessions among the poor.

The goal of the Community Listening Sessions is to build an action plan for alleviating poverty in Winston-Salem based upon the public opinion and making sure that the community members are active in this process.
