United Way's Community Assessment led us to establish the following focus areas. We hope to create the real, long-lasting changes in each area that will help prevent many problems from occuring in the future.

- Basic Emergency Needs/Homelessness

- Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities
United Way's Agenda for Change defines our goals in each area.
Sue and Danny Vandiver are two of the over 1,400 Forsyth County residents who have secured live-saving medications valued at more than $3 million for free from pharmaceutical companies through Med-Aid, a United Way-funded initiative. Click on the photograph to view their story.
