LET’S EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES
Education gives us possibilities. Possibilities to learn something new, have inspiring experiences, expand our skills and find success in a career.
Education leads to a higher quality, more productive work force, which strengthens local businesses and the economy, making Forsyth County an attractive place to live and work.
Individuals who don’t receive a high-school diploma earn less money and have a higher chance of living in poverty than those who graduate.
We look at the big picture, identifying what resources are lacking and aligning community resources to keep kids on track and in school. Since 2007, the overall high school graduation rate in Forsyth County has risen from 70.7% to 85.7%. Our goal is 90% by 2018.
