Every year in June, United Ways across the world celebrate the United Way Day of Action. Communities come together to harness the spirit and dedication of volunteers and improve the conditions in the communities in which they live. Since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, elderly seniors in our community have faced many challenges.
United Way of Forsyth County dedicated this year’s Day of Action to elderly seniors who reside in our community by providing 100 care packages with cards of support.
As our community observes social distancing and increased risk in some eldercare centers and communities, our seniors are dealing with isolation.
However, you answered the call to brighten a resident’s day with a card and care packages!
Click on the card below to download and send, submit electronically below to give them a shout-out on our social media, or both!
