Crisis Control believes that anyone can experience a financial crisis. When a crisis occurs, they offer targeted short-term emergency assistance to solve the crisis.
Crisis Control Ministry was founded in 1973 by religious congregations in Winston-Salem to offer better coordinated financial assistance for people in need. Crisis the largest emergency assistance provider in Forsyth County, and served 15,125 people in FY 2018.
The UWFC is doing a donation drive February 11-15 to support Crisis Control. Goods may be dropped off at the UWFC offices : 301 N Main Street, Suite 1700 or directly at Crisis Control, 200 East Tenth Street, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27101
Over the counter meds: cough syrup, Tylenol and Advil and cold medications, nose spray
Food Pantry: bath soap, applesauce, canned meats , baking items, instant potatoes
