When I moved to Winston-Salem, I knew I wanted to get involved with something dedicated to furthering the mission of the city. I was introduced to Young Leaders United through my job and it fit the bill while also offering opportunities to network with others in Forsyth County. YLU has connected me with many friends and agencies that I would not have known about otherwise. I am thankful to get to serve as the Chair this year.
