Join the dedicated group of individuals from throughout Forsyth County who make up the United Way of Forsyth County (UWFC) Impact Council. Help ensure the high standard of stewardship our
donors expect. Our volunteers are entrusted with reviewing the services provided by UWFC agency partners, carefully considering the needs for those services in our community and analyzing the
impact of UWFC funding in meeting those needs.
Overview of Role
The Community-Wide Impact Council members seek to ensure the funds UWFC invests into the community through programs, collaborations and initiatives align with the organization’s funding priorities and meet high standards of accountability for operations and results. Through individual and group activities the volunteers play a vital and challenging role in determining the investments that can make the greatest difference in the lives of our community’s residents in the priority areas identified and approved by UWFC’s Board of Directors.
